This Privacy Policy explains how Saman Muradi ("I", "me", "my") collects, uses, stores and protects your personal data when you visit this website (samanmuradi.se), sign up for the newsletter, or send a booking request. I am committed to handling your data lawfully, fairly and transparently in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Swedish data protection law.

2. What data I collect and why
I only collect the data you choose to give me, plus the limited technical data needed to keep the site secure. I do not sell your data, and I do not use it for profiling or automated decision-making.

3. Newsletter and your consent
The newsletter is optional and only sent if you actively sign up. Every email I send includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time with one click. Unsubscribing is free and does not affect any other dealings between us. I use a double opt-in process where available, meaning you confirm your subscription by email before receiving anything.
4. Service providers (data processors)
To run this site I use a small number of trusted third-party providers. They process data only on my behalf and according to their own privacy terms:
- MailerLite (UAB MailerLite, EU) — delivers and manages the newsletter. Privacy policy.
- Web3Forms — receives booking-form submissions and forwards them to my inbox. Privacy policy.
- hCaptcha (Intuition Machines, Inc.) — protects the booking form from bots and spam. Privacy policy.
- My website hosting provider — stores and serves the website files and may keep standard server logs.
5. International data transfers
Some of these providers (such as Web3Forms and hCaptcha) may process data on servers outside the EU/EEA, including in the United States. Where that happens, the transfer is protected by appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent adequacy mechanism, so your data receives a comparable level of protection.
6. How long I keep your data
- Booking enquiries: kept for as long as needed to handle your request and for a reasonable period afterwards for follow-up and record-keeping, then deleted.
- Newsletter: kept until you unsubscribe or ask to be removed, after which your email is deleted from the list.
7. Cookies
This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. The spam-protection (hCaptcha) and newsletter (MailerLite) tools may set limited cookies or similar technologies that are necessary for those features to work, for example to tell humans from bots. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
8. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- access the personal data I hold about you;
- have inaccurate data corrected;
- have your data erased ("right to be forgotten");
- restrict or object to processing;
- receive your data in a portable format;
- withdraw consent at any time (for the newsletter).

9. Right to complain
If you believe your data has been handled improperly, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swedish data protection authority, Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten (IMY): www.imy.se.
